Kenichi Nozaki
Kenichi is an Investment Principal at Mulago, a private family foundation in San Francisco. He focuses on long-term scale strategy and impact for early to growth stage solutions in health, education, livelihoods, and climate mostly in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Prior to Mulago, Kenichi advised nonprofits and philanthropies across the arts, climate, and education at The Bridgespan Group, and worked with nonprofits to replicate their programs at GreenLight Fund. He spent his formative years as a middle and high school teacher and administrator at Abaarso from 2015 to 2017, and prior to that as a teacher with NGOs in Bosnia and Haiti.
Kenichi has degrees in International Relations and Finance from Tufts University. In his free time, he loves to take long naps, hike in Point Reyes, cry at the movies, and deep fry egg rolls.
