Shukri is a finance professional at BlackRock in New York, where she works in finance and strategy. She is an alumna of Wellesley College, where she attended as a Mastercard Foundation Scholar and earned a degree in Economics with a minor in Environmental Studies.
Her work and interests focus on expanding access to careers in finance and supporting the next generation of global leaders. She has contributed to mentorship and career development initiatives through organizations such as Minds Matter NYC and Rock The Street, Wall Street, and has engaged in conversations on leadership, global pathways, and diaspora impact at the Somaliland Professionals of North America Conference.
Outside of her professional work, she is an avid runner.
